Listers earn a bit from gear that would otherwise sit idle. Borrowers get the good stuff without buying it forever.
Listing is free
Putting something on BorrowLocal costs nothing. You add photos, set day and week rates, choose collection or delivery, and publish once your photo ID is checked. We only take a platform fee when a rental succeeds — so you're not paying just to sit on the shelf.
Built for trust, not bureaucracy
Neighbour lending only works if people feel safe. We verify email, phone, address, and photo ID. Chat stays attached to each order. Handover codes timestamp collection and return.
